Chairman Message

Dear Rotary International members,

Dear friends of Rotary International,

　Rotary International is doing a very good thing.

　Rotary International has approximately 1.2 million members worldwide, therefore connecting 1.2 million people around the world.

　47 million service hours are dedicated to volunteering every year, changing communities around the world.

　In the last fiscal year only, 291 million US Dollars or about 300 billion Yen were awarded to service projects around the world.

　This year’s Rotary International President, President Mario Camargo, has established the message of  “Unite For Good” and “Let’s join Hands for Good.”

　This year’s Rotary International District 2710 Governor, Governor Shinjiro Doi, has established the message of
“Enjoy Rotary” and “With a Heart of Compassion and Service.”

　For all member the Rotary action is within your club.

　The purpose is to nurture Rotary’s ideals and grow within the Club.

　The Rotary Club of Ube Higashi will continue as a bright, friendly club, and we will continue to do volunteer activities as “participate, act, and enjoy Rotary” this year as well.
